Tucson Police Community Wide Immigration Information and Outreach
In an effort to connect with and inform the community, the Tucson Police Department (TPD) will engage in a community wide dialogue utilizing a variety of media platforms such as Facebook, the TPD webpage, pamphlets in English and Spanish, and participation in meetings with members of the community. This is in addition to TPD’s ongoing membership in the City of Tucson Immigrant Welcoming Task Force.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT- Red Means Stop
Due to the reduction in force of approximately 156 officers over the past two years the Tucson Police Department has undertaken, and now completed, a comprehensive review and analysis of the types of calls that currently require a police officer’s response. This was done to insure that the Department maintain the capacity to respond to critical emergency calls that require an immediate and timely law enforcement response.
I would like to personally welcome you to the Tucson Police Department website. I am glad that you are taking the time to get further information about our agency and the fine work that our departmental members are doing to better serve this community.
