  • Description:
    Provide advice and make recommendations with respect to the social, financial and health consequences of addiction in Pima County. 8 year term limit.

    Maximum Number of Members: 28

    Meeting Location:
    Every Voice in Action Foundation Conference Rm; 2851 N. Country Club Rd.

    Meeting Time: 2010: 1st Thursday of each month (except January will be January 7th @ 8:00 a.m.); 12:00 p.m.

    Membership Requirements:
    The membership shall be composed of no more than 19 members and 8 ex-officio members, all of whom shall be residents of Pima County and shall be knowledgeable about addiction, prevention, and treatment issues and concerns. Members shall be jointly appointed by the Pima County Board of Supervisors and the Tucson Mayor and Council, shall serve at the will of both bodies without compensation, and are subject to reappointment by the Board and Council. Membership shall include representatives of private business, law-related professions, healthcare, prevention and treatment organizations and providers and recovering addicts or family members of recovering addicts.
