Citizen Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC)
Description: Serves as an advisory and advocacy body to the Mayor and Council for transportation matters and programs.
8 year term limit.
Maximum Number of Members: 20
Meeting Location: Ward 6 Council Office, East Conference Room, 3202 E. 1st Street
Meeting Time: 2009: 1st Monday of each month, at 5:30 p.m. - unless a Holiday
Membership Requirements: Sixteen members: The Mayor and each Council Member shall appoint one member. One member shall be selected by the Commission on Disability Issues (CODI), and may be a member of CODI. Eight (8) positions shall be selected by a Screening Committee, utilizing application process as described in Ordinance No. 10374.
Appointees shall be city residents. Screening Committee appointees must be of voting age and shall comply with other reasonable criteria established by the Screening Committee. To the extent possible, members shall broadly represent different segments of the community.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST: At no time shall a member of the Committee vote on, or participate in the discussion of, a project or other issue potentially related to their employment or from which they personally, or their company, may profit. Such a situation shall immediately constitute a conflict of interest and the member shall excuse themselves from the discussion and voting on the issue.
