Tucson Greens Committee (TGC)
Description:
Recommend to the governing body the extent and location of the various golf activities and facilities of the city; and procedures and policy as to their operation, maintenance, fees and development.
8 year term limit.
Maximum Number of Members: 11
Meeting Location:
Randolph Golf Complex, Cactus Room
Meeting Time: 2009: 3rd Thursday of the month, 3:00 p.m.
Membership Requirements:
Nine members: Must be residents of the city.
Each member of the Mayor and Council shall appoint one member (terms are coterminous); the Parks and Recreation Director shall appoint two members (terms are two years).
The members appointed by Parks and Recreation Director must be: One from golf course management; and One a registered Golf Course Architect or a Golf Course Agronomist.
