  • Description:
    Representative organization of all affiliated veterans' organizations in the City of Tucson. 8 year term limit.

    Maximum Number of Members: 35

    Meeting Location:
    Mayor and Council Chambers, 1st Floor, City Hall, 255 W. Alameda

    Meeting Time: 2010: 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m.

    Membership Requirements:
    Number of members not specified. Membership shall be composed of those duly appointed or elected delegates from the veterans' organizations mentioned below, upon their approval by the Committee and ratification by the Mayor and Council, and such additional delegates from the said member organizations as the Mayor and Council may appoint.

    Shall be members of the Veterans of World War I, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Jewish War Veterans, the Disabled American Veterans, and such other affiliated or similar veterans' organizations as request membership, and receive approval of the Mayor and Council.

    4 year staggered terms to expire on December 31.
