  • Description:
    The duty of the Committee is to review the goals and policies of the Tucson Housing Trust Fund and make recommendations to Mayor and Council, to provide advice relating to the goals and policies of the Tucson Housing Trust Fund to the staff managing the Trust Fund, and to promote resource development and funding alternatives for the Trust Fund.

    Maximum Number of Members: 15

    Meeting Location:
    Santa Rita Bldg, Terrace Conference Room, 2nd Floor, 310 N. Commerce Park Loop

    Meeting Time: 2009: 3rd Thursday of each month, 3:30 p.m.

    Membership Requirements:
    Members shall be appointed by the Mayor and Council as follows:

    One (1) member shall be recommended by the Mayor and one (1) recommended by each Council Member.

    One (1) member from each of the following professions or entities:
    a) Lending Institutions
    b) Real Estate Sales
    c) Land Development and/or Building Construction
    d) Multi-Family Housing Industry
    e) Manufactured Housing Industry
    f) Major Employer
    g) Public Sector.

    One (1) ex-officio member selected from the membership of the Tucson Housing Commission.
