  • Description:
    To advise the Department of Transportation and the Mayor and Council on: (a) the roadway alignment that will widen Grant Road from 4 to 6 lanes from Oracle Road to Swan Road; (b) roadway design; and (c) land use and urban design plans for properties within and near the project boundaries

    Maximum Number of Members: 19

    Meeting Location:
    Will specify on meeting notice.

    Meeting Time: Meets as required.

    Membership Requirements:
    Pursuant to Resolution 20632, Section 2(a):
    The Task Force shall be composed of 18 members, who shall serve without compensation, from the following categories:
    (1) Six members representing neighborhoods along Grant Road;
    (2) Six members representing business interests;
    (3) Three members representing regional and local users of Grant Road;
    (4) One member representing alternative modes of transportation;
    (5) One member appointed by the City Manager;
    (6) One member appointed by the Citizen Transportation Advisory Committee.
    (7) One member appointed by the Planning Commission from its own membership

    Members are exempt from Tucson Code Section 10A-134(c) and may serve concurrently on other City committees, boards, or commissions.
