  • Description:
    The duty of the Committee is to assess how the City of Tucson plans and implements its financial resources and in-kind support of PEG channels; measure and assess the goals, strategic plan, financial health, vision, and productivity of each PEG channel organization, evaluate the programs of each PEG channel organization and make recommendations for improved financial efficiency, productivity, quality of service, and other innovative plans for enhanced PEG service. The Committee shall terminate at the earlier date of December 31, 2009, or the date upon which it furnishes its final report to the Mayor and Council.

    Meeting Time: Meets as required.

    Membership Requirements:
    Per Resolution 21093, adopted September 23, 2008, Mayor and each member of the Council shall appoint two member each to the Committee. Membership should be drawn from interested community leaders, relevant non-profit agency representatives, users of PEG channels, and media technology experts. The Committee may appoint ex officio members at its descretion, including City of Tucson employees.

    Members of this Committee are exempt from the provisions of Tucson Code Sec. 10A-134(c).
