Description:
The Oversight Committee shall advise the Department of Transportation and the Mayor and Council on: (a) Roadway alignment that will widen 22nd Street from 4 to 6 lanes from Interstate 10 to Kino Parkway; (b) Roadway design; and (c) Land use and urban design plans for properties within and near the project boundaries. Each member shall serve a term of four years and the Oversight Committee shall automatically terminate four years after the effective date of the creating resolution.

Meeting Time: Meets as required.

Membership Requirements:
The Oversight Committee shall be composed of 17 members from the following categories:
(1) Six members representing neighborhoods along 22nd Street;
(2) Four members representing business interests;
(3) Two members residing/working within the project area;
(4) One member representing regional and local users of 22nd Street;
(5) One member representing social services within the project area;
(6) One member representing alternative modes of transportation;
(7) One member representing the City Manager;
(8) One member appointed by the Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC) from its own membership.

The Director of DOT shall appoint the 15 members in sections 1-6 with input from the Ward V Council Member, the City Manager appoints the member in section 7, and CTAC appoints the member in section 8 above.

TCC 10A-134(c) does not apply and members may serve concurrently on other BCCs.
