Silverbell Road Task Force (SRTF)

  • Description:
    The task force shall advise the Department of Transportation and the Mayor and Council on: a) The roadway alignment that will widen Silverbell Road to 4 lanes with bike lanes from Ina Road to Grant Road; b) Roadway design; and c) Land use and urban design plans for properties within and near the project boundaries.

    Maximum Number of Members: 15

    Meeting Location:
    Will specify on meeting notice.

    Meeting Time: Meets as required.

    Membership Requirements:
    The Task Force shall be composed of 15 members, who serve without compensation, from the following categories:
    6 members representing neighborhoods along Silverbell Road;
    6 members representing business interests along Silverbell Road;
    1 member representing alternative modes appointed by the Tucson-Pima County Bicycle Advisory Committee;
    2 members representing regional interests appointed by the Regional Transportation Authority.
