The Mayor and Council of the City of Tucson has directed the City Clerk to record the
gender, racial and ethnic categories of those serving on all Boards, Committees,
Commissions, task forces and other appointive bodies established by the Mayor and
Council. Their goal is to have that membership (taken as a whole) be gender balanced
and numerically reflect the ethnic and racial compositions of the City as determined by
the current U.S. Census."
