The Engineering Section reviews all private development activities for conformance with current transportation and flood control/drainage
requirements and regulations. This includes review of tentative and final plats, development plans, site plans, grading plans, drainage reports, paving
and drainage plans, subdivision assurances, and rezonings. All regulations can be found in the Development Standards, with the exception of Stormwater
Regulations. The Stormwater Detention/Retention Manual can be purchased from Pima County or downloaded for the link listed in related links. The City of Tucson Standards Manual for Drainage Design and Floodplain
Management can be downloaded from the link listed in related Links.

The Floodplain Maps are in! The current FEMA floodplain maps can be found at http://dot.tucsonaz.gov/mapcenter/ Directions: 1. Select Transportation maps. 2. Using the Zoom Tool select your area of interest.
3. Under the Stormwater heading at the left, select FIRM panels. 4. Selecting the arrow tool, point to and double click on the grid section and the map will either open in a
new window or you will get a download dialog box.
