The City of Tucson is committed to using energy wisely. The mission of the Energy Office is to increase energy efficiency and conservation, minimize the city's carbon footprint, and expand use of renewable energy in city owned and operated facilities.
The Energy Office is a part of the Facilities Management division of the General Services Department. It participates in the design and construction of projects, tracks energy usage data, and builds and maintains relationships with residents, other public entities, and businesses to ensure energy efficiency.
