Gun Safety

People who make movies and video games are very good at making things look real. Sometimes in movies and games people are injured with guns. Often times the character gets up and walks away after being injured. In real life it is important that we understand the dangers of guns. In real life people don’t get up and walk away after being injured by a gun. If you come across a gun assume that it is real and ALWAYS take the following steps:

Don’t touch or handle the gun in any way.

Run away from the area immediately.

Keep other kids away from the area.

Tell an adult right away.

Call 911 if no adults are present.
