Vehicle, Equipment, Service Bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Through coordination with City departments, Fleet Services identifies vehicles and equipment for replacement. Specifications are developed using the latest information on automotive technology. In conjunction with Procurement, a bid package is developed. Subsequently, Fleet Services evaluates the bids and provides recommendation for the purchase of new vehicles and equipment. Each year the City purchases approximately 225 vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.
