1. Discussion: I-tree Program - Irene Ogata

    - Irene's presentation concerned the following issues:

    Potential Projects

    - Assist with funding for PDA’s

    - Funding for interns to assist with quality control checking of data

    - Assist with program development to interface ArcPad with I-tree inventory

      - Other suggestions?

        She is seeking (technical) assistance on the above issues, and any positive opinions, suggestions, ideas, comments, and guidance that you could give her concerning them would be very helpful. The Coop also seeks members' thoughts on possibly providing funding on this pilot project. Please let Larry know what your thoughts are on this by sending an email to Lawrence.Cassen@tucsonaz.gov

    - The Executive Subcommittee has developed a basic outline of an Executive Committee will

    be available on the web at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/gis/. The Executive Subcommittee asks that each GIS Coop member please consider this proposed leadership format carefully and send his or her comments on it to Larry at Lawrence.Cassen@tucsonaz.gov. It is important to know what you want, as the future of the Coop depends on your responses.

6. New GIS Layers - Steve Whitney

    - New layer: WILDCROS - Wildlife Crossings

7. GIS Fair - Larry

    - November 15th is the day of the GIS Fair. The Coop is looking for a couple of volunteers to staff the GIS Coop booth. "Shifts" will probably be two hours, and volunteers will be expected to talk about benefits of joining the GIS Coop to prospective members

8. Open Floor
