5. Are there products or services that Cox does not currently provide that you would like to see them offer, and if so, what are those services?
We think free internet access would be the most useful to everyone.... and a station just for commercials. It could be very creative and employ lots of media, actors and film folk. Think, people that can make great commercials for companies would attract viewers and the pitch could be straightforward, rather than mixing it up with a movie that we are trying to watch or a program like NOVA.
1) Stand alone Broadband internet access at a cheaper rate and at two bandwidth ranges, the higher costing more. 2) Ability to select 10-30 channels instead of expanded basic, etc, where I don't get some channels I'd like (unless I pay 20-50 more/month) and don't watch most channels it comes with.
1. show and provide support for PBS. they are an irreplaceable asset! (and it would be good PR) 2. offer website hosting with subscription to internet access. 3. carry "free speech tv" 4. better quality on pima channels - they are an EXCELLENT service
?
A high definition TIVO digital video recorder.
a la cart services or at least break down the channels more so you don't have lots of stations you do not watch.
A la carte channel selection,
A la carte channels
ABC, NBC ESPN2 HD service. Improved quality of the other channels. Keep the Local Access channels
ala cart offerings
ala carte channel purchases for say $1 a channel per month. I could do the basic service with a couple additional channels that at present require you to have several other packages (digital + another channel package) in order to get the channel you may want to see which greatly increases the price. NFL weekly game programming for all teams. (I realize this is a dream as it is a Direct TV feature, but would be nice if they could get it)
ala carte channel selection. We regularly watch only a handful of stations and rarely watch the others.
Ala carte choice. Their packages don't have what I need.
All local channels in HD, VOD (Video On Demand)
All local channels in High Definition
All Local HD Programming. I also believe that the DVR/HD cable boxes by Comcast are better and easier to use.
alternitive channels for news, politics and at least 1 gay channelwould be nice.
An a'la carte menu
An accurate on-screen programming guide would be nice. I realize Cox cannot control what the TV Guide channel displays, but one would assume Cox would know at any given time what it is broadcasting.
as it now stands, we as subsribers to cox don't have a choice of CABLE SERVIVES in our area. If I were in a comcast area area I could get the current movie service that they provide. It would be nice if we could get that service through COC cable also.
Better broadband internet access speeds at a reasonable price Customer support
Better High Def service
Better prices.
Better trouble shooting with the security suite with regards to ad ware and trojan horses.
cable access
Cable TV Channel ala carte, for a reduced fee. Pay for the channels you want, don't pay for channels you don't. An alternate version of the TV Guide Channel that does not list adult movies Additional Local community programming like the Access Tucson channels, Pima Community College channels, in Green Valley/Sahuarita
caller id on cable boxes
cell phone
Cell phone and Video on Demand
Cell phone service so that I can bundle services like Qwest currently offers.
Cell phone service with an option for a bundle with other services.

CELLULAR SERVICE
Channels that other cities seem to get for free, we have to pay for. More history, travel, culture, classic movies, special interest should be available on basic or lower tiers. Comapre what we get with other large urban centers where more companies operate.
Channels with higher-quality programming, e.g. more channels focusing on the arts, science, politics, etc. (in more depth, and with broader reach than is currently available).
channels, more
cheaper service
choose individual channels or change the lineup of the tiers they offer
Christian Programming
City of Tucson should not renew Cox communications licensing
city wide wi-fi
City wide wireless internet that current Cox internet subscribers could use anywhere in town. More programs like Democracy Now with Amy Goodman on Cox channels, less smutt, less trucks, and no Fox news please.
COMMUNITY TV IS WONDERFUL! WE LOVE IT AND WATCH IT EVERYDAY. THANK YOU! WE ALSO LOVE THE SERVICES THAT ACCESS TUCSON OFFERS - THANK YOU FOR THIS AS WELL! GOOD WORK COX!
Continue to Access Tucson. It is a vital component of local communitie's ability to have a voice and express both art and information in a visual medium. It has also become an unparalleled venue for aspiring visual artists and filmmakers. Not funding the program will be detrimental to the communities identity and not bose well for Cox's image.
Cos must ABSOLUTELY preserve the channels and funding for Access Tucson, as they have been for a number of years.
Cox cable could run better movie selections and stop running reruns on most channels especially of Everybody Loves Raymond, etc. etc. Remove one or two of the news channels and add one or two more movie selections channels especial true comedy.
Cox does not offer any services in my side of town. I would like to be offered internet service or cable service.
Cox offer all the services they can offer. The problem is the Cox is the only service i can get at "Villa Monterey Apartments" which i think it's not fare because i don't any other option than go with Cox. In my opinion the service it's kind of monopolize, i would like to have different options. Also, i've notice that my monthly bill has been going up little by little, it's been over a year i've had service and since then, my bill has gone up about 1 dlls., and i was never notified it was going up, every bill it's a few cents higher, and hiher, this is bad business from Cox.
Cox should have a better support line. They should have a separate option for Technical Support and billing/business problems.
custom cable TV packages
Customer service! They are very arrogant and nasty to consumers.
Customized channel packaging.
dfg
Digital programming for all local network affiliates.
Digital telephone services for my apartment complex that are optional also free operator assistance and directory assistance to all disabled customers and phone equipment. In cable, the removal of Logo on Variety Tier.
Dont know what might be available
ESPN U so I can see U of A games such as the Softball Super Regional today. I have digital cable but could not find the game on the cable guide anywhere.
Even though I no longer subscribe to the HD channels......eventually, I will again, and I would like to see more HD channels.
ewtn
Examples: WorldLink TV, Ovation, Sundance, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. National News, University of California TV, Classic Arts Showcase dedicated channel 24 hours a day. English-language versions of international news networks combined on a single channel, like Deustche Welle provided by the UA Channel, but including broadcasts from China, India, Mexico, and yes, al-Jazeera too! Free Speech TV should be granted an exclusive channel to themselves, separarte from Access Tucson. Is there no cable channel dedicated to native American and international indigenous people's self- programming? Are there any other viable cable channels to stand along with LOGO for exclusive sexual minorities programming?
Expand basic service.
Expand the service to the county, so I can get it again.
Expanded High Definition coverage
First just upgrade the quality of their current product without raising their rates.
for them to be able to offer us channels we used to get , like sci fi, etc. at reasoonable price, or allow us to substitute channels we don't watch for channels we enjoy.
Free Speech TV
German / French programming. That would be an incentive to get cable.
give me a list to choose from. I dont know what is possible ch99 is great for international news. Better than the networks. Pima college has some great programs, too, history, anthropology, economics. Ch 12 can be interesting, too. Local govt news is practically not there on the network channels
Good HD channels such as Fox, NBC, and ABC
Greater focus on local musicians of all genres; there is a wealth of talent in our city. More coverage of local cultural events, like the Mariachi Conference Showcase or Garibaldi, for those who cannot afford to attend.
HBO On Demand
HD channels for the major networks
HD Channels, like, ABC, Fox, and NBC like you offer in Phoenix and like most every other market of a similar size offers, including Comcast right here in Tucson.
HD locals and Video on Demand
HD LOCALS VIDEO ON DEMAND
HD locals would be a start also replacement of their HD PVR with tivo.
HD programming.
hermosillo tv stations
High Definition (HD) local channels
high definition TV Channels.
Higher speed internet at a lower price.
How about the basics like Court TV, Sci-Fi and a religious channel at no extra cost? COMCAST does it, as does DIRECT TV, and heaven knows COX charges enough for their bare-bones offerings. Access channels are pretty much monopolized by Pima College and the Wacko-Left Free Speech TV nonsense. They are hardly an excuse for deleting essential program channels.
I would love to see them curryEWTN[ the Cathloic netwark] they n they used to.
I am mainly concerned that Cox and the City will eliminate existing services in the new license agreement, channels such as such as Access Tucson, UofA/Annenberg CPB Channel, and PCC channels. Please keep or expand all existing local community programming!
I am very satisfied with the services that I have. If Cox offered cell phone service, I'd take that with them, as well.
I can only get Comcast in my area.
I love watching the TUSD channel. It is informative and something parents need to care about.
I ordered the phone and internet service they offered but was so displeased with the service I canceled after a month. They don't seem to be concerned about losing business because I sure haven't heard from them regarding the canellation of the services.I also believe their advertising in misleading.
I really dislike their Video Recorder. It is very quirky and has really bad UI. We pay top dollar-- they need to find another HD DVR.
I think the city should look at a proposal by this and other internet providers for hi-speed access for all citizens of Tucson, then put it to the voters for approval/choice.
I think the consumer ought to be able to choose which channels they want to pay for...........sorry, guys, I'm not interested in the religion, children's programs, Mexican programs and a few others. That's one of the reasons I still have not upgraded to digital because there's just that much more "junk" I have to sort through.
I waited over a year for them to get me phone service and it still has not happened even a year or so after I got their high speed. For some reason they can't get phone service here. The main reason I use cox internet is so I can get public access channels and C-Span. I watch all the public access channels. There is plenty of trash on that I don't watch but that is beside the point. Commercial TV is also jammed with mindless drivel. Access has unique and original stuff that is LOCAL. Especially now that media giants are controling so much it is more important to have direct citizen access to media. Plus there is the opportunity to learn production and do it yourself. !!**!** This is priceless. Such education may be expensive but it is invaluable. We should have more public access channels every year. Our whole society can only benefit from educating more citizens to make television for themselves.
I want all Public Access available to us in Tucson, all the time. I would also like all City Council Meetings re-run more of the time.
I want CNN on Basic Cable and do not care about any other channels except for Channel 99/FSTV.
I want the Free Speech TV channel full time.
I want the packages rearranged so IFC, Sundance and TCM are in the same package and that they were included in regular cable, not just digital.
I watch COX cable at friend's homes, and find the access channels and CSPAn to be the most informative and valuable.
I wish Cox would bring back on the of VH1 channels on digital that use to occupy channel 152.
I wish that it was available in my area! I am totally fed up with the service I currently have. I have watched Cox at my son's place and he is much happier with this service than I am with what I now have.
I would like Cox to carry C-Span 3.
I would like more of an a la carte set of channel options. For example, if I wanted just basic cable and also HBO, I would like to be able to do that without having to have all the other channels first.
I would like see more digital channels and replace some of the channels that nobody watchs. There is some public access channel programs that look like they are made in someone's basement. I hope I don't have to pay to that channel. I would much rather have an option to subscribe to those channels.
I would like them to carry ALL local high definition content. Comcast does and for less money. I would like them to carry ESPN2 in HD as well. I would like them to provide more reliable, more fully featured digital/high-def set-top boxes and DVRs.
I would like them to carry ALL local high definition content. They do not even carry NBC or ABC in high-def. Comcast does and for less money. I would like them to carry ESPN2 in HD as well. I would like them to provide more reliable, more fully featured digital/high-def set-top boxes and DVRs. Their current high-def DVR is slow, buggy, unreliable, and very difficult for non-technically-oriented people to use.
I would like them to offer local high-definition television signals. I would also like to see attractively priced service bundles, better than what they are now offering.
I would like to be able to choose the types of channels I get in the house. One of the other options allows me to have only family type channels with only a $5 charge for local. With that option I will be getting a better selection for just a few dollars more. I know people who would be happy only getting local channels and sports. They need different options, not an all or nothing approach.
I would like to be able to pick and choose channels and pay for each channel individually. Generally speaking, I enjoy Comedy Central and the History channel but I do not want to pay for the food channel or other channels that do not interest me.
I would like to be able to select the channels I want to see. There are many channels I never use. I'd like to trade for other channels. I currently subscribe to digital tier one just so I can see a favorite show on ONE CHANNEL! There are times I have had to think about discontinuing service because of the cost. I'd rather have the channels I like and not have to get rid of service due to its high cost.
I would like to know more about how Cox cable company is standing on the issue of net neutrality. I do not doubt that my internet service will be completely changed once Cox cable has the green light to start charging internet vendors. I will end up paying more for my internet. That is a ridiculous notion that only makes Cox cable, who already has a hold on the market, richer. I would like to see more independent media channel and a better selection of news channels, such as the BBC network.
I would like to see a larger amount of channels in their basic cable service.
I would like to see consumers allowed to choose specifically which channels they want at an individual per channel price. The consumer would have to be signed up for basic cable service but could then select an additional channel if that is all they wanted or maybe something like a 4 channel package could be made available. For example: A retired couple is satisfied with basic service, but would like to have Disney Channel only when their grandchildren come to visit in the summer or an amateur chef enjoys the Food Network and fixing up the house so he wants DIY, while his wife likes to watch movies on Lifetime and Hallmark, but basic service otherwise fits their needs. We live in a technologically advanced world. Options like these are possible and should be made available to consumers. The big question is, "Does Cox really care about offering the services consumers want in the way they want to receive them?" Cox might actually increase their business from consumers who can't afford additional channel packages beyond basic or who simply do not want to pay for channels they never watch. Cox would have quite a feather in their cap if they were the innovative leader of something like this!
I would like to see Cox offer a broader selection of channels, and enable subscribers to choose the channels they receive, rather than requiring them to sign up for a whole tier just to watch a single channel. When I first moved to Tucson, I was also disappointed to find that Cox does not offer the same range of educational programming (which I enjoy watching with my family) that I have found in other cities.
I would like to see Cox offer TV service on a channel by channel basis. Like all cable networks they have many channels that I have not interest in, but must stillpay for. The channels the City Controls-TUSD, Fire Dept. , City Council Meetings, and others are free services dto the City with all most no viewers. It makes the Schoold Distdrict and the Council feel good, but it is lost revenue to Cox and loss of choice to me.
I would like to see Cox provide more cable lines into older subdivisions in the greater metropolitan area, namely the Bridlewood Estates area near Silverbell and Ina. From our place, we can see their offices on Cortaro Rd., and yet for years our query as to cable availability has always resulted in customer service agents having surprised disbelief that we don't have a cable-ready neighborhood so close by. They always, and I mean always say, "yes, we have cable service in your area," then on second check telling us that cable is not yet in our area. Very frustrating that we have to pay the price for satellite when we would prefer cable, especially for its internet, phone and community program access possibilities.
I would like to see more about the schools, classrooms, and district info, but not at the expense of losing the Annenberg/CPB programs.
I would like to see more channels offered, I really enjoy the public stations that local communities can use.
I would like to see more High Definition programming like ABC in HD and also NBC in HD for example. Please keep all the community programming.
I would like to see someone else provide the cable TV service so that Cox could devote more money to improving their dismal monopoly internet service. I think Cox must have written this pussycat survey questionnaire , which is certainly favorable to Cox, because it doesn't mention the basic question of TV service, which I will address to the City Council.
I would like to see them stop bundling tiers, and allow the monthly purchase of channels I choose. There are a lot of channels in their tiers I never watch, so why should I pay for them?
i wouldn't trust them to watch my garbage. the entire COX corporation should register as arizona sex offenders because they have continuously raped me.
I'd just like to see Cox expand across Fort Lowell at Columbus. We are stuck with Comcast, which charges more and does not offer as much. I would very much hate to see them cut the public access channels, as has been discussed.
I'd like more channels that I would consider watching. I really don't care about public channels that the city develops and I'm not sure I should pay for that. Ask Cox to eliminate those channels and replace them with more programming that is appealing to viewers.
If a high-definition channel exists somewhere, cox should have it.
in demand and more HD channels
Individual premium or "extra channels" rather than having to purchase an additional "tier."
Install a device (nee VCR Commander) that enables Cox subscribers record television programming on VCR. I'm told that I must purchase the DVR (which has a monthly fee). Doesn' t see fair.
Instead of having to purchase "tiers" of channels, we should be able to subscribe to just the channels we want to see....out of the 200 some odd channels I currently have, I would like to just have the 20 or 30 that I watch and not have to pay for the others. Also...movies on demand should be offered Internet access prices are WAY to expensive.
internet at a cheaper price
Internet telephone & Celular Phone Service
internet: on the cox home page, develop notification to the user of an unread e mail. currently, one has to open their e mail account to see if an e mail has arrived or not. ~ provide a grammar button you can click on when finished writing e mails.
It would be nice if they made purchasing their Cable TV service more customizable. I know I do not want or need 75% of the channels they provide, but there is no way I can not get those and get the channels I do want.
It would seem to me that with the technology now available to us that we could include a feature which would proactively inform the subscriber of upcoming programs of interest using bolean searches of programing data.
keep all access channels, education and city channels
Keep the access stations!
Keep the Access Tucson channels and improve them. Democracy Now! and Free Speech TV programs are great -- we need more of them!!
Let the preview channel be part of the limited basic channel lineup, as it used to be.
Let us build our own basic or expanded basic service.
Let's see local films and get to know more about the local filmmaking community.
Local channels in HD.
Local HD Faster internet
Local HD/Digital channels video on demand more HD channels in general--not just the local ones
Long distance rates with cox digital phone are expensive.
Lower cost programming! Unfortunately there is no competition between the major cable companies anywhere in the country, so this won't happen. and since satallite TV can't compete with Cable internet speeds, Dish TV is not yet a viable competitive option. Also I'd like to receive Link TV which is now only available from Satalite TV.
Maybe you could look into Celular phone service.
mexico city and hermosillo tv channels would be nice
mexico city and hermosillo tv channels would be nice
More ala carte channels, like ESPN, for example. I don't think they should be required, since they charge premium rates. If we don't want that channel, and others like it, our cable bill would be cheaper.
More childrens shows
More community channels
More dependable service.
more family, quality English speaking channels for less money.
More flexibility with "tier" channel selection. To obtain one channel (History International) I have to buy a tier. To obtain a second channel (Sci Fi network) I have to buy a second tier.
more flexible subscription packages. Example: Choose any 5 "a-tier" + 10 "b-tier" channels - for X dollars Choose any 10 "a-tier" + 15 "b-tier" channels - for Y dollars Add extra "a-tier" channels to your subscription for Z dollars per channel. etc.
More foreign movies, more community produced material, more public and government channels.
more HD channels
More HD channels and a better DVR.
More HD channels and maybe some more on demand video
more HD channels very low compared to comcast
More HD channels!!!!!!
more hd channels, and video on demand.
More HD channels.
MORE HD CHANNELS...LIKE COMCAST OFFERS IN COUNTY.
More HD programming, including all local broadcast HD channels. I would also like InDemand service which Comcast offers.
More high def channels...... Video on demand
More High Definition and digital channels
more in-depth news
more independent films more small documentaries
More independent media channels
More international programming.
More kids channels (PBS channels)
more local access stations (about 10 more), 24/7 free speech tv, science, sci-fi, indy films network, and the like
More local and regional stations. More funds to the existing stations. More international programming-particularly news programs. Less corporately sponsore stations, so that a variety of points of view may be aired. Less pablum.
More local programs. More information about what's on Access Tucson, not just "Access Tucson" on the information menu.
more movies !!!
More non extra paid programing, other than commericals or sports without jepordizing the educational channels.
More PEG channels.
More public access channels. the NASA channel ALL the time.
More public access programming.
More Science Programs on Basic Cable
more sports with east coast feeds
More stations for less money.
More training on videography and video editing plus "airtime" for the public. These skills are essential to communication in this decade and for the sake of a literate electorate, I think Cox owes Tucson a continuation of the services that Access Tucson offered at the height of its funding, and more. Cox is benefitting from the public utilities, continues to charge high rates for its services, and mainpulates the state legislature incessantly to diminish what it gives back to the comunity. I think Cox should be funding Video camera and editing classes in the schools, beginning with about 5th grade and continuing throughout high school in every Tucson area school. Compared to what they are making off our fees and the use of the public's utility rights of way, this is asking only for a fair repayment to the community.
n/a
needs to add more HD channels (local) Comcast has all local channels in HD while cox has 3
NFL Sports package
NFL TICKET & more HD channels
NFL Ticket, V.O.D., and Wireless.
no
No Comment.
No they have to many services and do not fulfill their initial obligations, getting them or the city to do anything about it is difficult and complaints fall on deaf ears
No, not really. I suppose their Cable Internet speed packages could use a small boost (especially the value tier, which is stupidly slow).
No, they need to work on current ones
No.
No. The current level of services is adequate.
None
None and am very irked over their constant TV commercials when they are unable to take care of their existing customers.
none right now
None that I can think of.
None that I know of at present.
Not that I can think of at the moment.
Not that I know of.
on demand
on demand for chnls like starz and hbo
On Demand PPV
On Demand Services.
On Demand.
On-demand movie server or some way to personally program my own unique premium channel, sort of a "mix channel" of premium content. Oh, with a guarantee that the channel will come in clearly.
Option of "a la carte" cable programming... I receive *many* stations I'll never watch. C-SPAN should be free to everyone whether a cable subscriber or not.
Other channels like Weather Channel, at least one ESPN, TBS, USA as part of a basic package.
pay-per-view availability for those with "Basic" service, extension of phone service (it's not in my neighborhood)
phone- they wont' service my building despitei it being easy, well in city, adn even very profitable to do
Please continue the variety of shows that are produced and aired on Access Tucson TV. We need a place for the community to have a voice and an outlet for creativity and for non-profits to let people know what they have to offer. I have produced a show for a non-profit group called Know Thyself as Soul Foundation. The response from the viewers was very positive and we were able to have a forum to educate people about the many health benefits of meditation. I hope to produce programming in the future by learning more about tv production by taking classes and using the state of the art tv studio at Access Tucson.
programming with more intellectually stimulating content
Put the Sci Fi Channel and BBC America on Extended Basic Cable. Limit the number of Public Access channels to 2, and Public Ed. channels to 1.
Satisfied with current services
sci fi channel
Sci-Fi Channel
Sci-Fi channel, IFC, Sundance Channel without having to pay for the digital package
SciFi channel as part of the Expanded Basic offering instead of one of the Digital Tiers.
See Above
See reasons for dissastisfaction, above. Cox needs to offer an alternative to charging a $55/month premium to customers who use all their services and already pay more than other popular package customers for less service, when those customers want to move from basic non digital TV service over to digital.
Since you offered no space to say what I like about Cox and want to see continued, I offer the following. If Cox were to drop Free Speech TV - 99, I would have little reason to subscribe. If you are considering dropping any channels, please keep this one!
Smaller package options that would allow you to actually get what you want without having a zillion things you don't want.
Speciality channels like Fine Living.
Stations that appeal to people in my age bracket and educational level. (40-60 years of age. At least a college education level).
Style network, Court TV
Sundance Channel on the expanded basic plan
Telesur
The ability to add a channel whenever I want. At the price I am paying for Digital service, I should have the Biography Channel, but don't.
The ability to choose the channels I want and pay for just those.
The ability to pick individual channels versus the packages. There are many channels that we don't watch. For example, we order the Variety Package option just to get one channel - the SciFi channel.
The anime channel To keep public access channels
The internet as I can not use mine often.
The internet signal is too low before 7 am and late at night
The On DEMAND service seen in several of Cox's other markets and more HD channels.
The only reason I have Cox is because of my location. I cannot receive local channels in my area without the Cox service. For someone like me who really does not watch television very much I feel as though I am paying far too much for the limited amount of television viewing that I engage in. If there was a way for me to receive - the local channels only - that would make me very content. If I had to choose cable channels as part of the overall package then I would like the option of selecting local channels and a few cable channels at a significantly lower cost.
the products I'd like are available, but in an expensive package I don't want and too expensive individually - no winning. I simply don't want to pay $60-$70 a month for a single station, higher to add another station I'd like, which is what it comes out to when adding the basic cable plus the stations I'd prefer.
the tennis channel in the extended basic package, not the sports package.
They do not service the area I live in (SE tucson), so it would be nice to see them extend service beyond their current boundaries. If they did, I would definitely be a customer.
They have the products, as far as the cable, just give us a little more for our money.
They need to improve their customer service.
To be able to pick ones own cable channels, paying a price for each channel instead of the way it is now, where these packages are available, they should optionalize this for those who don't want to pay for channels they rarely watch.
To offer all chanels on a menu so the customer can select those channels one wishes to view and pay for without paying for all the other trash commercial networks and to increase the number of P.E.G. channels.
tucson needs free citywide wireless and cable companies should provide AFFORDABLE cable, not telephone, and not high speed internet. if we have to keep cox, then they MUST quit end-running with WRITING legislation in phoenix that is NOT community minded in tucson! we need ALL the public access, education and government channels that we bargained for in the beginning. and i am very upset with the city for dropping the ball on this, much less the governor! i dont bother being upset with most of the mindless state legislators, they are making 17k a year; no wonder they dont have the time or energy to actually educate themselves with the facts of cox cable. and if the city of tucson is actually awake and considering dropping them, my thanks to you! its about time you started expressing the progressive and positive ideas that would form the city we could be. asking the citizens their opinions is a good start. however, you did not leave room for other comments, which i would have done at the bottom of the survey.
VIDEO ON DEMAND
video on demand all local digital/hd channels
Video on Demand cell service
Video On Demand and Entertainment on Demand Cell phone service
Video on demand services, better digital cable packages where I select the channels to bundle not their bundle choices and more interavtive programming such as trivia and games played through cable.
Video on demand would be sweet.
Video on demand, more HD channels, more pay per view channels
voice over ip services like vonage.
We need more HD programming, especially all the major broadcast networks. I appreciate what we have, but the others are coming too slowly.
We need to keep our public channels!!!!!!!!!!
We want the local channels offered in digital/HD format, rather than the current analog. Cox says they are trying, and the stations refuse--lies. We found out that KWBA was trying to get Cox to carry the digital signal and Cox refused until we got it on the internet and started an email campaign to force the issue. Cox still wont admit they lied. Anne Doris chastised the viewers for getting involved in her business... The Cox web site is inaccurate on their offerings, and their channel tiers, etc. I have told them several times--they dont care. Its false advertising at best, and lying at worst. Either way they dont deliver what they promise to Tucson.
Wireless phone!
Wireless Phone, free wifi in public places
Would like ti be able to choose what channels I subscribe and do not subscribe to. Instead of having to pic a large package of channels most of which I do not whatch. THat is the main reason I only subscribe to internet.
Would like to have the SciFi channel moved back to basic from digital. Since the music channels (MTV, VH1, and CMT) don't really show much music, would like to have some other music channels. Would like a better preview channel.
Would like to pick and customize the channels that I only wish to see, for instance with part of the services you pay there are channels like HSN or related advertisment channels that specialize in product sales only..something that I feel that I am paying for and have no use for those channels,
Yeah, how about some integrity and dignity.
Yes - video on demand is still not available (again standard answer coming soon). Also the ability to choose channel lineups without sports packages or channel by channel would be welcomed. Local tech support with people that watch our channels and understand our issues would go a long way to fix the issue. Multiple requests for "The Anime Network" are not recorded, both the original channel and the new VOD version.
yes I would like Cox to offer a plan were you could order only the channels that you want. I believe that the tecnology is avaible now.
yes on demand more ppv channels and cell phones
Yes, 1) A full Digital lineup 2) Video on demand 3) More Hi Def channels
Yes, I would like to have the choice of another cable company and eliminate Cox's monopoly and over priced product line.
Yes, I'd like to not have to wait forever to talk to live people. I'd like the automated phone service to work properly. I'd like to not be charged a fee to pay my bill over the phone when the automated phone service isn't working properly
yes, more channels for free. Also would like to see Cox involved within the community offering outreach programs to middle aged adults. (50 and up) Also, need to offer and consider a T.V. Channel with upcoming events. When I write channel 12 (especially for Pet connection) I am always turned down (I want all pets to be on show, not just dogs and cats) I think a 12 minute program showing different animal agencies each week would be great. Also, volunteer opportunities and maybe even a volunteer of the month. Possibly even employers looking for employees could post on that channel. The lady who does Pet connection is very nonchalant and it appears as if she does not care at all.
Yes, why can't the all the television providers get together and figure out a way to make every channel available to everyone? In this scenario, individuals would be able to choose only the channels they want but all the channels they want. So if someone doesnt want all the lame shopping channels they don't have to pay for them. You could charge per channel do very well I'm sure. It's ridiculous that money controls this. That I have to sign up for Directv so I can see the Chicago Bears play football. It's also ridiculous that I have to sift through 100 channels when I only really watch 8-10. Of course, those 8-10 are never included in one package so I'm forced to subscribe to 1000 channels just to get the 8 that I want. It's stupid. It's an idiotic way to do business. I can assure you nearly every customer feels the same. You want to beat Directv? You want to get more customer? You want to continue to be an even ridiculously larger mega corporation. Well then, give the people what they want, and, stop forcing them to take what they don't.
Yes. I would like Cox Communications to offer the 3 Angels Broadcasting Network channel. Here is there website: www.3abn.org
