Public Notice: Goals for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to 49 C.F.R. 26.45 that the City of Tucson has proposed an overall goal of 10% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises participating in U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration assisted contracts. The City of Tucson has proposed an overall goal of 10% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises participating in U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration assisted contracts for fiscal year 2008-09. The proposed goal and its rationale are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the City of Tucson Office of Equal Opportunity Programs through July 3, 2008. The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs is located at 100 North Stone Avenue, Suite 610. The City of Tucson and the U. S. Department of Transportation will accept public comment on the proposed goal through July 21, 2008.
