Newly-Created Regional College Access Center Provides Resources for Pima County Students
The Metropolitan Education Commission (MEC) recently introduced the Regional College Access Center for Pima County students and their parents.
The Regional College Access Center focuses on students from
low-income households and on those who are first in their family to
attend post-secondary education programs. Its four primary goals are:
- Preparing for college
- Paying for college
- Graduating from college
- Supporting workforce development
Arizona becomes the 44th state to establish a Regional College Access
Center. Tucson will have the state's only location at the present
time.
A web site for the Regional College Access Center is now linked through the MEC web page at www.tucsonaz.gov/mec
