Safety Fair Offers Something For Everyone

Ward III City Council Member Karin Uhlich, the Mansfield Park
Coalition, Tucson Parks and Recreation, and Tucson Police Department are
partnering for safety this weekend.

Taking a proactive, educational approach to some of the challenges
impacting Ward III neighborhoods, project partners have gathered a wide
range of resources, information, and fun together for families to enjoy.
From free Vehicle Identification etching and a Bicycle Rodeo to Fire
and Crime Prevention education and animal safety, attendees will have
the opportunity to collect information, talk with various agency
representatives, and enjoy light refreshments.

The Safety Fair will take place Saturday, January 26, from 2:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. at the Northwest Neighborhood Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave.

Youth, parents, students, and neighborhood residents are especially
encouraged to attend.

Safety Fair participants include: Ward III Council Office, Mansfield
Park Coalition, Northwest Neighborhood Center, Tucson Police Department,
Tucson Fire Department, Department of Neighborhood Resources, Arizona
Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Pima Office of Emergency
Management, Pima Animal Care Center, Pima County Transportation,
Household Hazardous Waste Tobacco-Free Ways, Arizona Blue Stake,
