Downtown Centennial Celebration February 10-12, 2012
The Downtown Centennial Celebration is a 3-day event just ahead of the 100th anniversary of Arizona achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. Festivities planned include free street concerts on Scott and 5th Avenues, free concerts at the Fox Theatre, street musicians, food vendors, rides and historical re-enactments. 31st Annual Fort Lowell Day Celebration February 11, 2012
Presented by the Old Fort Lowell Neighborhood Association this free event fills Fort Lowell Park with educational and entertainment activities for children and adults, including a historic-sites walking tour, cavalry drills, living re-enactments, food, music and all the fun an outdoor festival in Tucson can expect! 2nd Saturday's Science in the City February 18, 2012
Science in the City, presented by 2nd Saturdays, will transform Downtown into one big science center from 2 to 6 p.m. Downtown merchants will host discussions and demonstrations about science/technology related to the goods and services they provide, and the Zero Gravity and Mathematics Road Show will be in the Interactive Park on Congress. Tucson schools and Pima JTED will also showcase their projects at venues including the Tucson Children's Museum, Science Downtown and Tucson main library.

Kona Bikes 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo February 17 - 19, 2012
Presented by Tucson Medical Center, its one of the largest 24 Hour mountain biking events in the world. Come watch the event the mountain bike community has been raving about for years!

La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (Tucson Rodeo) Parade February 18 - 26, 2012
The Tucson Rodeo, or La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (Celebration of the Cowboy), one of the top 25 professional rodeos in North America, will be held at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds.  In addition, the Tucson Rodeo Parade has been presented since 1925, and is considered the country's largest non-motorized parade! Arizona Friends of Chamber Music's critically acclaimed festival, at Leo Rich Theatre, features five concerts, a gala dinner, and free-to-the-public master classes and dress rehearsals.

Tucson Festival of Books March 10 - 11, 2012
Tucson celebrates books and literacy at an all-ages festival, which attracts 100,000 people. The event, held outdoors on the University of Arizona Mall, includes 450 authors and performers and 240 exhibitors.
