Habitat Conservation Plan Advisory Committees

Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)

The Technical Advisory Committee was formed in 2004 and provides City of Tucson staff with scientific guidance on the development of the HCPs. As of July 2009, members (not including ex-officio) include:

Mr. Dennis Abbate — Arizona Game and Fish Department, Research Branch

Ms. Marit Alanen — U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service

Mr. Rich Glinski — Arizona Game and Fish Department (retired)

Dr. Paul Green (alternate is Dr. Kendall Kroesen) — Tucson Audubon Society

Mr. Trevor Hare — Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection

Mr. Ries Lindley — City of Tucson, Tucson Water Department

Dr. Guy McPherson — University of Arizona, School of Natural Resources

Dr. Linwood Smith — EPG, Inc.

Resource Planning Advisory Committee (RPAC)

The Resource Planning Advisory Committee is an official advisory committee to the City of Tucson’s Mayor and Council. It replaced the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC), which, like the Technical Advisory Committee, formed in 2004.
