This website was created to inform you about what the City is doing to make Tucson a more sustainable community and to connect you to information and resources that can help you make choices about living more sustainably. By working together and making individual contributions, we can improve our community and make it more resilient when faced with environmental and economic changes. We hope this website serves as a tool to help move us forward and improve our community.
There are two main ways to access the information on this site. You can explore a particular sustainability topic by clicking on one of the puzzle pieces below. Each icon leads you to a wide range of information on the topic it represents.
The second approach to navigating the site is to select from the menu bar above. You can get information about what the City is doing to promote sustainability (Sustainability in Government); about how individuals and groups can and do contribute to a more sustainable community (Community Opportunities); and regulations, policies, and incentives related to sustainable land development, building, operations, purchasing, fleets, and workforce (Business Tools). As you navigate through these sections, you can get more related information organized by sustainability topic by selecting the puzzle icons on the right hand side.
