Learn about how you can contribute to the social health of our community

Collaborate with Neighbors through a Neighborhood Association or Homeowners Association. NAs and HOAs provide a great forum for getting to know your neighbors and for working together to make your neighborhood a safer and more vibrant place to live.

View existing Neighborhood Associations and learn how to establish one in your neighborhood.

Become a Community Volunteer. There are many opportunities for you to get involved with organizations and projects that improve our community. Making a big difference doesn’t always mean devoting a lot of time. You can also find opportunities in areas that interest you.

Volunteer Center at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona

The Volunteer Center of Southern Arizona is dedicated to strengthening communities through effective volunteerism. We’re best known as a clearinghouse for volunteers, but we also deliver creative solutions to community problems by harnessing the power of volunteerism in a number of other ways.

United Way Days of Caring

Days of Caring connects volunteers with local nonprofit groups to complete projects that may not otherwise get done. This unique event gives employees an opportunity to spend their workday or a Saturday on volunteer projects that make a difference in the lives of children, family and seniors. Days of Caring also provides a way for companies and groups to develop long-lasting relationships with colleagues and agencies.
