An activity based program for ages 5-11 years (5 years olds must have completed kindergarten, proof may be required) Schoolzout camps occur when school is closed; rodeo break, spring break, fall break and the holiday break. Cost is $2 per child per day. No discounts. Activities include, games, music, sports crafts, field trips, movies, and more. Registration begins on the monday two weeks before the school break. Registration numbers are limited. Contact the center staff at 791-4683 for more information.
KIDCO summer recreation program
KIDCO is only offered during the summer time at oury center. Contact registration services for information about cost at 520-791-4877. Contact KIDCO at 520-791-5909 for information about the KIDCO program.
In-Betweeners Club (IBC)
The IBC club is available during the school year for kids ages 11-14 that are in middle school. The cost is $18 for 3 months. Children get homework help, a snack, arts and crafts, out door games and guest speakers.
Youth Open Drop-in Recreation
Monday-Friday 5-6pm, must be at least 7 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or adult. Daily center use fee or quarterly pass applies.
Monday/Friday from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm
Senior Club Ages 50+
Activities for seniors ages 50+ include bingo, cards, bunco, guest speakers, crafts, exercise, field trips, cooking, special events and more.
Senior Activity Club required.
Mon./Tues./Fri., 11am-1pm. Seniors age 50+ enjoy guest speakers, field trips, arts and crafts and much more.

Oury Recreation Center is located in the historic Barrio Anita neighborhood. It dates back to the 1930s when it was the site of many softball leagues.
Oury Recreation Center lies in the heart of the David G. Herrera/Ramon Quiroz Park. The park is named after David Herrera and Ramon Quiroz. The two gentlemen were former coordinators at Oury Center and made a big impact on the lives of youth in the Barrio Anita Neighborhood.
