CHERRY AVENUE CENTER HOSTS FREE CINCO DE MAYO EVENT MAY 3

The Cherry Avenue Center, 5085 S. Cherry Ave., will host its 3^rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Fun Fair and Fiesta Saturday, May 3 from 11 a..m.-2 p.m.

The free family event will feature door prizes, carnival games, jumping castle, obstacle course, face painting, food and entertainment.

It will also showcase the services and resources available to the community from various local organizations and businesses.

Among the sponsors for the event are the Cherry Avenue Center, Cherry Avenue Senior Club and the Cherry Avenue Neighborhood Association.

SANTA ROSA PARK SITE OF 5^TH ANNIVERSARY BLOCK PARTY MAY 10

Santa Rosa Center, in partnership with other community agencies, will present its 5^th Anniversary Block Party at Santa Rosa Park, 1055, S. 10^th Ave., Saturday, May 10 from 5:30-10:30 p.m.

The free event will feature family games, displays, car show, entertainment on two stages, train rides for kids, jumping castle and face painting.

Food will be available for purchase.

Co-sponsors for the event are the Santa Rosa Neighborhood Center, CODAC Behavioral Health, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Health Services, Child Parent Center, Pima County Library, Pio Decimal Center, Carondelet Faith Community Nursing, Drachman Montessori School and COT Community Services.
