JULY 4 FIREWORKS SHOW TO RESTRICT “A” MOUNTAIN USE
The City of Tucson’s July 4 fireworks show atop “A” Mountain will restrict user access to Sentinel Peak Park for two days.
The site will be closed to vehicle access all day Thursday and Friday, July 3-4. Walkers and joggers are encouraged to use the nature trail instead of the perimeter road. No one will be permitted near the set up area for the fireworks display.
The site will re-open to vehicular access by noon Saturday, July 5.
This year’s fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
Normal park hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
