Nineteen recreation and special interest centers, spread throughout our community, are available for public use and enjoyment. Varying in size, programs and services offered, these locations help foster a social connectedness to our community for citizens of all ages and interests.

There are probably one or more centers close to where you live. Stop by to visit or to take advantage of the recreation and leisure opportunities these centers offer.

Regional Centers

Regional centers serve a wide geographic area of the City of Tucson, and these facilities are larger than other centers. Amenities may include indoor gymnasiums, walking tracks, fitness centers and/or adjacent service/program buildings.

Neighborhood Centers

Neighborhood centers serve a smaller geographic area of the community and are distinguished by offering a variety of community/human services, which may include wellness, nutrition, education and/or ethnic activities.
