PARKS AND RECREATION SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE AVAILABLE APRIL 20

Tucson Parks and Recreation’s free Summer 2009 Program Guide & Class Catalog will be available Monday, April 20.

Limited quantities of the summer edition will be available for pick up while supplies last at all Parks and Recreation Department facilities, including district offices, centers and pools. Copies will no longer be available at Pima County public libraries.

Should supplies run out, each site will have an office-use-only Program Guide available for

public use. The summer issue can also be viewed on-line beginning Friday, April 17 at www.tucsonaz.gov/parksandrec.

The Program Guide contains complete information on leisure classes, children’s swim lessons, summer KIDCO, pools, sports programs, sports camps, registration and Club Randolph/Club Udall.

In addition, the 72-page booklet contains valuable information on other programs and services, including the Department’s 22 recreation and special needs centers, Reid Park Zoo, Tucson City Golf courses and 27 pool locations.

Using the EZEE Registration system, either on-line at www.ezeereg.com or by phone at 573-3933, is recommended, since summer offerings fill up quickly.

City residents can begin registering at 6 a.m. for leisure clubs, camps, Jr. Leadership and therapeutic programs on Friday, April 24; summer KIDCO Saturday, April 25; and leisure classes, children’s swim lessons and adaptive aquatics Sunday, April 26. Non-City residents may register for all offerings beginning Wednesday, April 29.
