Tucson Parks and Recreation also offers varied aquatic and adaptive aquatics activities; tennis and racquetball at three tennis centers; and a variety of sports leisure classes, including gymnastics, martial arts, roller blading, soccer and ice skating.
Leisure Classes for Seniors
Senior Olympics
This annual sports festival attracts more than 3,000 athletes, ages 50+, during a 10-day span in late January. Events include: aerobics, archery, badminton, baseball, basketball, billiards, bocce, bowling, bridge, Canasta, chess, cribbage, croquet, cycling, Euchre, 500 Cards, golf, horseshoes, novelty field events, novelty swim events, Pinochle, powerlifting, racquetball, road races, shooting, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track/field and volleyball.

The City of Tucson operates two skate parks:
Randolph Center Skate Park
200 S. Alvernon Way
Above-ground facility features street vertical props, rails and various ramps enclosed in 20,000-square foot asphalt complex. Site is not supervised. There is no charge for use. Hours of operation are limited; please call Randolph Center at 791-4560.
Purple Heart Skate Park
10050 E. Rita Rd.
In-ground facility features 8,000-square feet, with ramps and small bowl. Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Site is not supervised and there is no charge for use.
Two fenced roller rinks are located at Catalina High School, 3645 E. Pima St. Both rinks are available on a first come, first served basis, or you may make reservations by contacting 791-4873.
