NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Tucson will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at or after 7:00 p.m. in the Mayor and Council Chambers of City Hall, 255 West Alameda Street, Tucson, Arizona, at which time and place all interested persons will have an opportunity to appear and be heard in relation to the following:
Amendment to the West University Neighborhood Plan
Main Gate V – Increased Building Height
Request to Allow a Building Height of up to 140 Feet, in the
northwest portion of the block bounded by University Blvd. on the south, Second St. on the north, Park Ave. on the east, and the Tyndall Ave. alignment on the west
An amendment is proposed to the West University Neighborhood Plan, to allow a building height of up to 140 feet on the Main Gate V site. The 0.74-acre amendment site is located west of the University of Arizona, and directly east of the existing Marriott Hotel.
A copy of the staff report, including the proposed changes to the West University Neighborhood Plan, can be obtained from the City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department, located on the first floor at 201 N.
