Miles Neighborhood Plan

MAYOR and COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOVEMBER 17 (see below, Public Meetings)

We are happy to announce that a project to develop an official neighborhood plan for the Miles Neighborhood is underway. A neighborhood plan creates a vision for the future and answers such questions as:

  • What do we want our neighborhood to look like?
  • Do we want more public space?
  • What types of landscaping are appropriate?
  • What social or recreational activities do we want to promote?
  • What types of land uses do we want to see in the future?

The Miles Neighborhood is bounded by Broadway to the north, Kino Parkway to the east and the Arroyo Chico Wash to the south and west.

A Mayor and Council public hearing will be held on Tuesday,

November 17, 2009 at or after 5:30 p.m. at the Mayor and Council Chambers, City Hall,

255 W Alameda, Tucson, Arizona.

The Draft Miles Neighborhood Plan is available for review.
