PROPOSED RINCON SOUTHEAST SUBREGIONAL PLAN AMENDMENT, MAP DETAIL #16, VALENCIA/ALVERNON
As part of the pre-annexation development agreement the Department of Urban Planning and Design (DUPD) is conducting a planning exercise to amend the Rincon Southeast Subregional Plan (RSSP), by providing land use guidance through a new Map Detail specific to the 700-acres site.
The additional maps attached below show existing and proposed land use guidance being considered for the 700-acre site and relevant land use information on surrounding land areas:
Map 1 outlines the surrounding limits for both Pima County and the City of Tucson, including the proposed 700-acre amendment site being considered as Map Detail #16 of the RSSP.
Map 2 provides the current zoning patterns as regulated by Pima County Government. For further discussion of the zoning categories go to
