Phonebook and Directory Recycling

When the City of Tucson went to once a week refuse and recycling pickup, the recycling program expanded to accept commingled recyclables to include phonebooks or phone directories (List of Recyclables).

So when new phone books are delivered throughout Pima County, Tucson residents may recycle them in their blue barrel for the regular weekly pick up or phonebooks may be brought to any of the sixteen Neighborhood Recycling Centers (Recycling Centers).

City commercial customers may put the phonebooks in their blue “Tucson Recycles” containers or in their City brown “Cardboard Only” frontload containers.
