Desert Wash Safety Activity Books are now available at Eastside City Hall. They were developed to send the following message to children:

• Washes are dangerous when it rains.

• Do not enter washes when flooded.

• Washes are home to desert creatures that shouldn't be disturbed.

• Don't dump trash in the wash.

• Don't dig forts in the banks of the wash.

• Don't dump pollutants in the storm drains.

• Water harvesting is a wonderful way to use storm water.
