The student council and the student body of Henry Elementary, painted a mural depicting the school mascot (Gila Monster) and different aspects of the school culture such as our motto- "Never Settle for Less Than Your Best" and other school activities showing student involvement. This project was in response to graffiti that has repeatedly been painted on the wall. The students felt that a student-produced mural would deter further vandalism as well as represent school pride.
