Tamara Prime: Council Aide
With a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, and a Masters degree in Sustainable Development from Prescott College, Tamara has served communities in Southern Arizona for more than 20 years.
Focusing her work primarily in the Tucson’s nonprofit sector, Tamara has consistently advocated for women and children beginning with her work as Prevention Coordinator for the Brewster Center and New Beginnings for Women and Children. She has organized for youth and families as Director of Community Initiatives for Arizona Youth Partnership; encouraged public engagement and social equity as a Fellow for the Arizona Community Foundation; and supported the arts, most recently as a Board member for Kore Press. Before joining the Ward III Council office, Tamara worked as Director of Housing for TMM Family Services, Inc.
