George Pettit Council Aide

George was born and raised in northwestern Montana. He graduated from Montana State University. He taught Middle School Social Studies and Science for six years. In 1986 he visited a sister in Tucson, fell in love with our beautiful City and has been here since. He is married to Debbie who is a TUSD 4^th grade teacher; they have two daughters – Katie, a freshman at Tucson High and Lydia, a 6^th grader at Alice Vail Middle School. Prior to joining the Ward III Administrative team, he dedicated nineteen years as a community worker to Casa Maria.
