8th Annual Ward 4 Back to School Bash
Council Member Shirley Scott, the Ward 4 City Council Office and her staff are hosting the "8th Annual Ward 4 Back to School Bash" on Saturday, August 9th, 7 am to noon, at the Clements Recreation Center, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive. There will be a pancake breakfast, bike rodeo, no-cost raffle, fingerprinting and swimming. We are planning to have informational and interactive demos from various agencies at the Clements Center from 9 am to noon. Fingerprinting will be provided by the Tucson Police Officers Association from 9 to noon. There will also be a “jumping castle” and inflatable obstacle course for the children. All children will be given a packet of school supplies from World Care Tools for Schools.
Schedule of Events
Ø 7:00-11:00 am – Pancake Breakfast
Ø 9:00 am – Bike Rodeo by Parks & Recreation Department
Ø 9:00 – noon - Informational and interactive displays at Clements Center, featuring Tucson Police Department (SWAT & Fingerprinting), Tucson Fire Department, Tucson Water, Library, Sun Sounds Radio, and many others.
Ø Free raffles for participants from 8:00 am to 11:30 am
Ø Grand Prize raffle at 11:30 am –
Ø Noon to close – Free admission to the Clements Center pool – weather permitting.
All of these events are free of charge.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
