The Honorable Shirley C. Scott is serving her third term as the Ward IV Council Member for the City of Tucson.  She represents the City of Tucson at the national level as a Board Member of the National League of Cities and has represented our community in the international, state, and local arenas on issues of environment and community sustainability.  Council Member Scott was previously a member of the Governor’s Advisory Task Force working to improve outcomes for incarcerated women and their children.

As the former owner of a small business in the city Mrs. Scott is keenly aware of the issues and challenges that these critical contributors to our economy face and continues to work to improve their ability to succeed.

Mrs. Scott’s greatest passions in her work are ensuring and improving the quality of life for children, families, and seniors in Tucson, the environment, and public safety.
