Department of Neighborhood Resources

DNR brings focus and priority attention to neighborhood needs and promotes greater involvement of citizens in City government.  Emphasis is placed on providing citizens with direct information about City services, connecting citizens with key City personnel, and coordinating City/community resources for effective service delivery.  Offices located at 320 N. Neighborhood Link
Neighborhood Link is an Internet-based community network that enables metropolitan-area neighborhood associations to create their own free, interactive web sites. It is designed to be the primary resource for civic communication for every neighborhood throughout the U.S.

The Community Mediation Program provides a dispute resolution service using neutral mediators to assist in the peaceful resolution of neighborhood and family conflicts.

The Department of Transportation, ParkWise Office, provides information about neighborhood parking permit programs and enforcement of permit violations.

Neighborhood Protection Act

Neighborhood associations have been extended certain portions of victims' rights, specifically those involving prostitution, drugs and chop shops. This allows the neighborhood certain victim rights that help in tracking a criminal case and having a voice about it in court.
