Ward VI is a culturally diverse and historically significant segment of the greater Tucson Metropolitan area. Encompassing 17.4 square miles of Central Tucson, it is home to more than 74,000 people.

Ward VI also contains many of Tucson's premier visitor destinations including the University of Arizona, Rio Nuevo and downtown, 4^th Avenue, Park Place, the Tucson Convention Center and Metropolitan Visitors Bureau, the Botanical Gardens, Reid Park and the Zoo.
