DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCES (DNR)
In addition to providing services to registered neighborhood associations (mailings, meeting facility assistance, and help with obtaining tools and roll-off containers), DNR is now the home of consolidated code enforcement. DNR Inspectors enforce a number of City regulations such as the Neighborhood Preservation Ordinance, Refuse Code, provisions of the Land Use code, Sign Code and the Peddlers’ Ordinance. They inspect for potential violations related to excessive vegetation, junk motor vehicles, illegal dumping, unmaintained and unsecured pools, vacant, neglected, boarded structures, construction work without permits, graffiti removal and zoning violations.
Call DNR at 792-CITY or check out their website.

NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME STATISTICS
The statistics found on this link are based on information available regarding particular neighborhood coordinates. If the coordinates listed for your neighborhood are incorrect, please contact us. Also, if portions of a neighborhood lie outside the boundaries of the City limits, information reported will include only those areas inside the City limits.

HOW TO GET A NEIGHBORHOOD WEBSITE
Many neighborhoods utilize web sites to keep the residents in their association aware and up to date. Neighborhood Link (www.neighborhoodlink.com) is a free service that provides neighborhood association the ability to create their own web site
