I came to work for Nina, after living and working in Tucson for 28 years, in order to continue in public service and help make Tucson a better place for those who live and work here. I feel that those of us who live here and especially those that are raising their families here deserve the best possible service from City government.

I have worked at the Ward VI Office for over four years. I truly enjoy working with all the different groups that are working to make Tucson the best it can be. It can be challenging, but the work is quite rewarding. Seeing different ideas come from the planning stages to completion as city ordinances, back-to-basics projects or community programs is amazing!

Laura Burge
Council Aide
Laura.Burge@tucsonaz.gov
I chose to work for Councilmember Trasoff knowing her love for our community and her philosophy on how best to serve it. I wanted to continue my work addressing the unmet needs of Tucson. A Council Aide is a natural progression for me, as I get the chance to use my skills from my volunteer activities as well as my medical service and training. It is truly an honor to be able to work for the City of Tucson in this position.
