Fix a Leak Week
During the week of March 16 to 20, 2009, WaterSense will be launching its very first “Fix a Leak Week,” an opportunity to encourage Americans to improve the water efficiency of their homes by checking and fixing leaks. Nationwide, the amount of water leaked from homes each year could exceed more than 1 trillion gallons - equivalent to the annual water use of Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami combined. Your participation in Fix a Leak Week could help nip those drips and create serious water savings.
