Homeowners Guide to
Using Water Wisely
Saving Water At Home
How much water do you use? Tucsonans are world-class water savers. Our combined average daily residential and nonresidential water consumption (known as "per capita" water consumption—gallons per capita per day, or gpcd) is generally 160 gallons. That's far below average rates in other parts of Arizona and the western United States. For practical ways you can conserve water and save money, too, check out Tucson Water’s Homeowners Guide To Using Water Wisely.
