Water Quality In My Neighborhood
The water quality conditions within each of the water quality zones operated within the Tucson Water system is displayed through a series of charts, tables and maps. To view historical and current information trends, select a water quality parameter or else go directly to your water quality zone and zoom in on the water quality conditions particular to your neighborhood. To learn more about the overall water quality conditions in Tucson Water's systems, see the Tucson's Water Quality page.
The map, as initially shown, shows each of Tucson Water's seventeen different Water Quality Zones. Using the navigation buttons in the upper left of the web page, the viewer can zoom in, zoom out, and pan (drag the map left, right, up and down) to access a particular area. As the viewer zooms in, addition map information and details are displayed.
You can simply click on a blue Point-of-Entry location or a red Sampling Point location in the distribution system to get detailed quality information; first select the "Info" button and then select a water quality sample location of interest. The data will be displayed in a new window, which means that if you have pop-ups disabled, you will need to temporarily re-enable them to be able to view this information.
These interactive maps are best viewed using Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 5 or above. The maps that you are about to view contain a significant amount of detail and require a fair amount of time to load, particularly when accessing this site via a telephone modem. Please be patient, particularly on the initial map load.
If you experience difficulties when viewing the charts generated from within the maps, follow the instructions provided on our Java Runtime Plug-In page.
