INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE (IRC) TUCSON
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives after been forced to flee their homes because of war or persecution based on race, nationality, religious beliefs, or political opinions.  The IRC in Tucson has welcomed over 3,000 refugees from over 23 countries as newcomers to the Tucson community.  The IRC provides a variety of services including housing and cash assistance, counseling services, wellness promotion, youth development, access to health care, job search services, English classes, and U.S. citizenships preparation.

OUR FAMILY/ TEENS IN TRANSITION PROGRAM
Teens in Transition has helped homeless and near-homeless youth finish high school, get a job, continue their educations after high school, and plan for an independent future. Some of the services include: mental health counseling, educational and career planning, parenting classes, independent living skills classes, and substance-abuse assessment and referral.
