The City of Tucson is starting a process to transition some public housing units into Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) units. These homes will still be owned by the City’s non-profit, El Pueblo Housing Development, and will remain affordable housing.
While most of the current residents won’t experience significant changes, the Housing and Community Development Department is holding a series of resident meetings to make sure that the current tenants have the information they need and the opportunity to ask questions.
