The City of Tucson provides numerous opportunities for engagement on various issues affecting our residents. Aside from NewsNet, social media, and direct mailings, the City hosts many public meetings, both in-person and online. You can also take surveys at our Open Town Hall website.
We also use "storyboards" to help explain issues that are complex. You can see some of our recent ones below.
The City partnered with a number of local nonprofit agencies to get federal CARES Act funds to the community as quickly and efficiently as possible. Together, these agencies deployed grants totaling more than $22 million to more than 10,000 grant recipients. These partners distributed 99.7% of the grant funds authorized by the Mayor and Council.
